change.INSPIRING

STOP ... before you even begin reading this post, I urge you to copy/paste the following link, choose the second song (it's got pretty pictures) and listen to the song!

Okay...did you honestly do as your were instructed...just kidding!

As most people do, I have my beliefs in certain things, however this blog is not meant for any expressions of that type!

With that being said, I did want to simply share with you these links as I found them touching and inspiring. They are both based on the events of the Inauguration this week and obviously both are supportive of President Obamas election to lead this country.

Again, I will not say one way or another as to my view on our new President...I will say that whether you support him or oppose to support him...he is indeed our President and he needs our prayers!

I do feel, all beliefs aside, the happenings of the phrase ... a CHANGE has come ... has given a new sense of pride in the simple things YOU (not just one man) can do to CHANGE our country, states, communities and homes ... simple things such as helping your neighbor and treating our planet better ... no matter the reason behind it ... it is wonderful and enlightening to see!

Please check out the following video! You will also need to copy and paste it.

So what do you pledge...

I pledge to begin using cloth bags at the market, drink more water but not as much bottled water, work at a soup kitchen at least once this year and be a better mom & wife!

Again...what do you pledge? Comments are welcome...but only if you have something nice to say!

One last phrase from President Obama ...

So let us summon a NEW SPIRIT
of PATRIOTISM
of RESPONSIBILITY
where EACH of US RESOLVES
to PITCH IN
and WORK HARDER
and LOOK after NOT only OURSELVES but EACH OTHER

While on the topic of helping others...thanks to everyone who made a comment for the cans! I appreciate your responses and think the Hastings Food Pantry will appreciate it as well!
